Jean Picart Le Doux (1902–1982) was a French artist, best known for his significant work in tapestries, or gobelins. Picart Le Doux's tapestries are known for their vibrant color palette and atmospheric themes. His works combine ancient techniques with a modern sensibility. The artist drew inspiration from nature, mythology, animals (especially birds), and everyday life. His works were often more decorative than symbolic.
