Artemide, Melampo floor lamp

A gorgeous and personal floor lamp!

Adrien Gardère designed the Melampo floor lamp for the Italian company Artemide in 2000. Thanks to its aluminium and zamak base, it is 137-162 cm long, depending on the direction of the lampshade. It is the lampshade that gives Melampo its special character, as it can be turned both backwards to direct the light forwards and by turning 180° to direct the light upwards. With its intelligent function, the floor lamp is suitable as a reading light in both the living room and the bedroom. The lampshade gives a soft impression because it is covered in silk and gives off diffused light.
