Terms of Service

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to the use of and purchases made in the RUF Second Hand online store. By placing an order, you accept these terms as well as the delivery and return policies presented in the online store.

RUF Second Hand reserves the right to amend these terms when necessary. Changes do not apply to orders that have already been placed.

3. Products

RUF Second Hand sells pre-owned furniture and interior objects. Each item is generally one of a kind.

Products may show signs of use, which are described as accurately as possible on the product page.

4. Product information

We aim to present all products as accurately as possible.

  • Colors may vary depending on the display
  • Signs of use are part of the character of the item
  • The customer is responsible for reviewing product information before making a purchase

5. Prices

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT.

We reserve the right to change prices and to correct any obvious errors.

6. Ordering and formation of contract

Placing an order requires providing accurate information.

A binding sales contract is formed when RUF Second Hand has confirmed the order.

RUF Second Hand reserves the right to refuse an order, for example in the following situations:

  • pricing error
  • product is out of stock
  • technical error

7. Payment

Payments are processed through the payment methods available in the online store.

The payment service provider is responsible for handling payments according to its own terms.

8. Shipping and returns

Shipping and returns are governed by separate delivery and return policies, which form part of this agreement.

9. Liability for defects

RUF Second Hand is liable for product defects in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law.

Normal signs of use in pre-owned products, as described on the product page, are not considered defects.

10. Limitation of liability

RUF Second Hand is not liable for indirect damages. This does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights.

RUF Second Hand is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure.

11. Intellectual property

All content, images and text on the website are the property of RUF Second Hand and may not be used without permission.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation.
