Kauklahden lasitehdas Oy operated in Kauklahti, Espoo, from 1923 to 1952. The factory was founded by Claes Norstedt, the former director of the Iittala glass factory, but he was unable to make the operation profitable and already in 1927 he sold the factory to Riihimäen Lasi Oy. The factory continued its operations as an independent subsidiary. In 1952 the owner closed the factory.
The Vintage glass bowl for sale is from the 1940s. The bowl is hand-painted with beautiful cornflower patterns and a thin red line runs around the edge of the bowl. A very beautiful and in good condition bowl!
