Matti Koskel's charcoal work

Matti Koskelin (1945-2003) was an artist from Turku who graduated from the Turku Art Society's drawing school in 1968. His paintings are realistic depictions of Turku and often contain a maritime spirit and boating. His watercolor works of Turku riverboats are familiar works to Turku residents. Koskelin's ink drawings are also very skillful in handling the line.
