A beautiful and sympathetic ceramic plaque called "Blekinge's oldest oak" made by Swedish artist Jie Gantofta and designed by Aimo Nietosvuori, referring to the large oak in Blekinge County.
Aimo Nietosvuori launched a new Swedish product in the 1970s, ceramic wall panels, and they became the company's best-selling item.
John Ewert 'Jie' Johnson founded Jie in 1942 and Nietosvuori joined the company in 1967. He worked there until Jie's bankruptcy in 1992.
