Ilmari Tapiovaara, Domus chair

The iconic, well-known chair designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1946, which is still produced by Artek Oy.

This unique piece was manufactured by Keravan Puuteollisuus Oy in the 1950s and has been given a new, slightly different colour. The frame is spray-painted white and the seat and back have been treated with Uula linseed oil, tinted with Uula pigment powder in the shade "Yellow Ochre".
