Artek 611 chair, 2 pieces

Chair 611, upholstered with saddle webbing, was introduced to Artek's production in the 1950s, but its origins are much older. Alvar Aalto, together with master carpenter Otto Korhonen, designed the so-called row chairs, as early as 1929. The row chairs had product numbers 11 and 12 and were used especially in public spaces because of their stackability. Chair 611 with saddle webbing was therefore produced alongside the row chairs, and 611 is still a popular piece of furniture in production.

Material: the seat has beautiful blue alcantara upholstery, which is intact and in very clean condition. The backrests are made of blue saddle girth, which is intact and unfrayed. The backrests have faded slightly in the sun, but evenly. The frame and legs are light birch and are in very clean condition! The chairs are from 2004.
